I am currently running a small vegetable farm with 5 chickens and a 22 tree orchard at a location in the South Valley of Albuquerque. I was trained by local farmers and through the Grow the Growers program located at the Hubbell/Gutierrez museum grounds. I was also the site manager for the program on 5 Acres which included admin work, field work, tractor and equipment maintenance, scheduling/implementing/repairing well irrigation for 12 separate farms (1/4 to 1/3 Acre), berm building for acequia flooding, supply ordering and training new participants when program trainer was unavailable. I am looking to improve land with inadequate soil conditions, I use regenerative/permaculture/biodynamic approaches to improve soil health, sequester carbon and increase water retention. I would like to find an acreage that includes a home and reliable water source for the land to be improved. Please contact with any questions.
